While others are enjoying Christmas, I’m honestly just glad when it’s over. For someone with ME/CFS, the hustle and bustle of the holidays isn’t a recovery—it’s the opposite. The best strategy I know is distraction through something that actually brings me joy. So, between the holidays, I started preparing the Magic Update.
The first thing I set up is a local test server on my Raspberry Pi. It might sound unspectacular, but it’s a real step forward in my workflow. Until now, I’ve been testing changes directly on the live system, which meant every bug was immediately visible to everyone. From now on, I can try everything out locally before it hits the real server.
As for the content of the update: Magic is coming to Arthengard. Runes, scrolls, potions, and much more are in the works. Up until now, Intelligence as an attribute has been neglected—that is about to change.
